I believe the most important aspect of human life is the products of the working mind: The understanding of the world and the challenges in it, mean thoughts, sentiments and intent which dictate our course of actions and our ways of living.<\/p>\n
I am not a psychologist, -or anything near it; but I remember, as a child, after school and homework, I liked watching the grown-ups, listening to their conversations, trying to understand what they meant to mean, without posing questions about the things I did not comprehend, -just absorbing like a sponge what they said they do or not do, their speaking manner, the body language, their reactions.<\/p>\n
I believe that in all stages of our lives, such kind of \u2018learning\u2019 is a common process to all humans and provide a rich backdrop within which any new information is woven to what is already inside our minds, creating new thoughts, views and emotions. So, the circumstances we live, the things we see, hear and feel, what we read and our own experiences in our every-day life, provide inspiration and stimulate our creativity.<\/p>\n
An example of all these is my novel, SHARING HER APPLES, -the product of extensive reading and thinking about the unfair treatment of women in wars, and researching the topic of the human responsiveness to trauma.<\/p>\n
I would also refer to a book I recently read, \u2018My Year of Rest and Relaxation\u2019 by OTTESSA MOSHFEGH, where, among other things, the detailed observations of ordinary life, the human condition in each of its feature and the feelings generated, provide a wealth of inspiration for a story or stories to be written.<\/p>\n

Ps.: Ottessa\u2019s book mentioned above, was a present for Christmas by a dear friend and it was an affirmation of how inspiration for writing could sparkle from every-day-life.<\/p>\n
